Volunteer Rules and Guidelines: Attendance: Volunteers are expected to arrive on time for their assigned shifts. If unable to attend, volunteers must notify the volunteer coordinator as soon as possible. Dress Code: Marketplace: Volunteers will be provided with a staff shirt and are required to wear black pants or trousers. Evening Ball: Volunteers will be provided with a staff shirt and are required to wear black pants or trousers. Professionalism: Volunteers are representatives of the Alluxia team and are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times. This includes courteous interactions with attendees, vendors, and staff. Responsibilities: Marketplace: Assist with setup, vendor support, attendee registration and guidance, and event coordination under the direction of the event staff. Evening Ball: Check-in attendees, assist cast members with any needs, and ensure the smooth flow of the evening. Confidentiality: Volunteers must respect the confidentiality of all event-related information, discussions, and activities. Any sensitive information learned during the event must not be shared outside the event. Safety: Volunteers must adhere to all safety guidelines provided by event organizers. If any safety concerns arise, volunteers should immediately notify event staff. Alcohol and Drug Policy: Volunteers are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol or drugs during their shifts. Any volunteer found to be under the influence will be asked to leave immediately. Respect: Volunteers must treat all attendees, vendors, and staff with respect and kindness. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Feedback and Suggestions: Volunteers are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the volunteer experience and the event as a whole. This can be done through the designated feedback channels provided. Recognition: Volunteers will be acknowledged and appreciated for their contributions to the event. This may include shoutouts on social media, certificates of appreciation, or other forms of recognition. Benefits: Marketplace: Volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the ball portion from 9:00pm - 12am (excluding dinner). Evening Ball: Volunteers will receive 20% of a future General Admission event ticket as a token of gratitude. This discount can be used for any general admission ticket available at the time they choose to use it. It cannot be used to purchase a ticket for an event that is already sold out. Code of Conduct: Volunteers must adhere to the event's code of conduct, which promotes a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all attendees. These rules and guidelines are designed to ensure a positive and memorable experience for both volunteers and attendees at the Starfall Ball. Volunteers are essential to the success of the event, and their dedication is greatly appreciated. Please note, completing this form does not guarantee a volunteer position.
