Your Mission

As guests continue exploring the Enchanted Emporium, another kind of magic is happening behind closed doors. The Grand Ballroom is still just an empty space...until our Realm Builders begin transforming it into the heart of Alluxia.

Whether you're assisting in the marketplace or helping construct the Grand Ball, your work is part of what turns imagination into reality.

Build the Grand Ball

Most volunteers on this shift will help bring the ballroom to life. You'll assist with assembling scenic backdrops, building our immersive fantasy forest, placing décor, and transforming the space into the world our guests will step into the following evening. It is physical work, but it's also one of the most rewarding parts of the weekend—you'll get to watch Alluxia appear piece by piece.

Support the Enchanted Emporium

A small number of volunteers will remain in the market to assist vendors, answer guest questions, provide directions, and help ensure everything continues running smoothly while the transformation is taking place behind the scenes.

Create the Magic

No matter your assignment, every task contributes to the same goal: creating an unforgettable experience. The details matter, and your work helps guests believe they've truly crossed into another world.

Your Reward

As our thanks for helping build the magic, you'll receive admission to the Saturday evening Grand Ball from 9:00 PM until midnight (Spark admission), including the open bar and late-night snacks. After helping create Alluxia, you'll get to celebrate inside it.

Arrive Ready to Build

Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift to check in, receive your volunteer shirt, and get your assignment before work begins.

Volunteer Attire

We'll provide your official Alluxia volunteer t-shirt. Please wear it with black bottoms and comfortable closed-toe shoes, as much of this shift involves moving décor and building scenic elements.
Please bring a lightweight long-sleeve shirt in case you are assigned to the forest team! Our trees can be a little scratchy while they're being assembled. We'll provide work gloves for everyone working with the trees.

Check-In

Upon arrival, report to the Registration Desk OSCEOLA COUNTY CONFERENCE CENTER (attached to The Omni) to receive your badge, shirt, and final instructions before heading to your assigned area.

Thank you for helping us build the world our guests will remember long after the weekend ends. Every tree raised, backdrop assembled, and finishing touch placed is part of the story they'll carry home with them.

Friday Evening Shift: Keepers of Neverland

A Night in Neverland Volunteer Team

7:30PM - 10:00 PM

Your Mission

As the sun sets, the gates to Neverland open for one unforgettable evening. As one of our Keepers of Neverland, you'll help prepare the space, welcome guests into this exclusive experience, and ensure the evening begins with the same magic and hospitality that defines every Alluxia event.

Though your role may seem simple, you're responsible for helping create the first moments of an unforgettable adventure.

Prepare Neverland

Before guests arrive, you'll assist with setting up the event space by arranging décor, adding the final magical touches, and ensuring everything is ready to welcome our guests.

Welcome Our Guests

Assist at the registration desk by checking guests into A Night in Neverland, answering questions, and greeting everyone with a warm welcome as they begin their evening.

Guide the Adventure

Help direct guests to the event space, answer basic questions, and provide assistance throughout the evening so the experience runs smoothly from beginning to end.

Keep the Magic Flowing

Remain attentive throughout the event, communicating with event leadership if any needs arise and helping solve small issues before they become larger ones. Your calm presence helps ensure every guest can simply relax and enjoy the evening.

The final hours before the Grand Ball are some of the busiest of the entire weekend. As our Final Keepers of the Realm, you'll help close one chapter of the day while preparing for the next. Whether you're assisting vendors as the Enchanted Emporium comes to a close or putting the finishing touches on the ballroom, your work ensures a seamless transition into the most magical evening of the weekend.

Support the Enchanted Emporium

Some volunteers will help our vendors as the market begins to close. Assist with answering questions, directing guests, and helping vendors load out efficiently so everyone has a smooth and successful departure.

Complete the Grand Ball

Other volunteers will be assigned to the ballroom, where the final pieces of Alluxia will come together. From arranging décor and placing finishing details to solving last-minute challenges, you'll help ensure every corner is ready before our guests step through the doors that evening.

Grand Ball Volunteer Team

Your Mission

The Grand Ball is the heart of Enchanted, and behind every magical interaction is a team ensuring the evening runs effortlessly. As one of our Keepers of the Magic, you'll help create an experience where guests, performers, and Ascendants can fully lose themselves in the story.

Whether you're welcoming guests, supporting our cast, or assisting an Ascendant, your kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism help make the magic feel real.

Welcome New Arrivals

Some volunteers will assist with registration, greeting guests as they arrive, helping with check-in, answering questions, and ensuring everyone begins their evening with a warm welcome.

Support Our Cast

Many volunteers will be assigned to a specific cast member. Your role is to quietly support them throughout the evening so they can remain immersed in their character.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Helping create a respectful environment during guest interactions.

• Escorting your performer off the ballroom floor if they need a short break.

• Bringing them water or other necessities throughout the evening.

• Watching for signs that they need assistance, while remaining as unobtrusive as possible.

• Helping them stay comfortable so they can focus on creating unforgettable moments for our guests.

Support Our Ascendants

Some volunteers will be assigned to an Ascendant table. While Ascendants are guests, they also play an important role in bringing Alluxia to life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Checking in periodically to make sure they have everything they need.

• Bringing them drinks or assisting with small requests.

• Helping them feel welcomed and cared for throughout the evening.

• Serving as a friendly point of contact if questions or needs arise.

Keep the Evening Flowing

Throughout the night, remain observant and ready to assist wherever needed. Whether helping answer a guest's question, communicating with event leadership, or stepping in to solve a small problem before it becomes a larger one, your calm presence helps keep the evening running smoothly.

A Few Reminders

• Our cast members remain in character throughout the evening. Please avoid breaking immersion unless a situation requires it.

• Be attentive without hovering. The best volunteer support often happens quietly in the background.

• If you're ever unsure how to handle a situation, contact an Alluxia lead immediately.
